Not another review!?!

Here is a thought,

There has been ALOT of hate out there regarding this one. I think most of the hate has glossed over the fact that He-Man has had about as many lives as other comparable “franchises”, like Transformers, Godzilla, G.I. Joe, DC Comics, (…!). C’mon Now, Let’s face it, some good… and some…

Part of me wants to say, “You’re not wrong, you have a point.”, while the other part says, “It was about damn time, besides, if the alternative was nothing than I would have rather…”

The bottom Line.

SOLID 7 out of 10 period.

Main point here is, THIS IS a Masters of the Universe film! What did you expect!?! This really was never supposed to be a film that would suddenly make someone whom only watches horror or romcom films change their lives and start going to Cons and cosplay as Fisto or Evil-Lyn.

On the other side, with that budget, the possibility of showcasing Eternia, and the possibilities of bringing to life that world with what we have seen in the oceanic world portrayed in Aquaman or the imagination rich undertaking of Avatar… what a missed opportunity. This is why you make a “major motion picture” now-a-days, to actually get your butt off of the sofa and ENJOY a theater experience!

Film Critique - WHY EARTH!?! I may be wrong here, but I am sick of these franchises feeling the need to insert itself into Earth. It almost never works and is a waste of time. Not to say it doesn’t work, Sonic the Hedgehog has somehow successfully navigated this, but otherwise… Lay off it already!

Credits Roll - 7 out of 10. FIRM. Go out and see it, or don’t - enough with the hate. Fans will be mildly happy, kids will enjoy, anyone whom wouldn’t normally see a film like this - it has its moments. Don’t nitpick the darn thing, what happened to taking a minute to relax and unwind. This isn’t a test, just sit back and take it easy.
